Case Study: Order&Eat

Order&Eat is an android and Web-based application which is specifically designed to order fast and continental food from your favorite restaurants at your doorstep. User should Sign-up either using the phone number or Facebook account for placing the orders. Upon signing up using the Facebook account, user will get a 25% discount on the first order. After login, user have to provide a location as his/her default location using the Google maps. The user can also get the order delivered other than the default location. User can contact the rider via call/SMS. User can schedule the order by providing the exact delivery time. User can add his/her favorite items in the starred items list. User can choose to pay by cash or via debit card. Upon paying using the HBL debit card for the first time, user will get a flat discount of 10%. User can also give 1-5 star rating to the food items. User have to pay PKR 100 delivery charges if the bill of the order placed is less than PKR 500. Upon cancelling the order, the user have to pay PKR 30 per food item which will be adjusted in the future orders. User can place order of minimum 1 and maximum 10 food items at a time. A user can only place one order at a time. The application only operates from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, 7 days a week. The application is available to use in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
