CASE STUDY: STRESS Two new supervisors have been hired to manage the dietary department. There have been staff injuries in the workplace. First, the cook's helper went off on medical leave due to repetitive strain injuries with mixing and prepping food from scratch, the other staff have been complaining of back pain and shoulder pains when working in the dish room. One of the employees went to both supervisors and told them when they have macaroni and cheese on the menu, the dishes are not cleaned properly within the dish machine so staff have to soak the dishes or run the same dishes through the machine a few times causing a great amount of stress for time and on the body. The employees in a meeting identied the issues and complained to both supervisors to follow up on their concerns.
