The company specializes in closing business deals and has several high profile clients in Ottawa but also in various other cities in North America. The associates prepare several documents when working on deals with their clients. The clients also provide numerous documents to the team at Firmlaw. Lawyers often travel to complete deals with their clients have must have access to all the documentation on their laptop or tablet. There are 30 employees working in the head office located in Ottawa. All of them have computers with access to a Microsoft Outlook email address. At the end of last year, it was decided to remove the server room located at the head office to move to a cloud system. The server room will allow for the addition of offices, which construction is slated to start on December 2, 2020. The CEO asks you to write the statement of work to give to the potential providers of cloud services. The work will also include the removal and disposal of the current server, the transferof the data and the archiving of older files. All files must be accessible outside of the office and by the clients through a portal that will allow them to place files there. All files also must be accessible at all times during the transition. You must first make yourself informed about what there is to know about moving from a local server to cloud services, the different cloud services solutions, the implications of disposing of an old server, etc. You are also wondering if you should include in this SOW the installation of any document sharing software and if so, which one and what will be the installation parameters. Data privacy is going to be of prime importance and data loss is obviously not acceptable. Answer the following question: 1. Introduction: Summary of problem or situation. 2. Procurement Management Plan: (part of) Provide a table identifying the key roles (Sponsor, Project Manager, etc) that will be required for this procurement package and their respective responsibilities.
