Cases and Problems QD AA 2. Oakdale Motors Inc. is a corporation, incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, engaged in the selling, repairing, and servicing of automobiles. All of its shares are owned by Faulkner, who is also the sole director. Faulkner acts as the general manager of the corporation and supervises its day-to-day operations. Last winter, Hill visited the premises of Oakdale Motors to look at a used car she saw advertised. The area outside the sales office was extremely slippery, being covered by ice that was, in turn, covered by a thin layer of snow that had fallen overnight. Faulkner was working at the Oakdale premises that day and knew of the dangerous state of the premises but had made no effort to have the danger removed. Hill slipped on the ice, fell, and broke her leg. The injury was a serious one and has left her with a permanent disability. She has learned that Oakdale Motors Inc. is in severe financial difficulties and is likely to be made bankrupt. However, Faulkner appears to be quite wealthy. Would Hill have any claim against Faulkner
