CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF CONFLICTS IN THE WORKPLACE

Thesis Statement

Conflict is inevitable in the workplace and can be disagreement among employees about task and goals, and modification of organization structure. Thes major causes have enormous effects on employee as well as the entire organization.

TASK CONFLICT

CAUSE- Disagreement about tasks and goals

With the depth and breadth of different perspective and views, their subjective experience tension will be enhanced.

Their subjective experience tension will escalate with differences in previous experiences and opinions.

Effects Decrease/Increase productivity

Certain types of conflicts which may have positive effects on the individual and group performance may have to be enhanced and maintained at moderate level.

Individual and team performance eventually need alteration and discipline at a sub-level, for a chance of positive effects during types of conflicts.

CAUSE Leadership changes and business strategies changes

Resource conflicts emerge when and because individual, and organization are misaligned.

When individual and organizations are not cognitive, resources start to diminish.
