Employers value the ability to communicate. Writing and speaking skills are almost always listed as the top skills for success in the workplace. Can you think of a job that does not require effective writing and/or speaking skills? Many of you do not consider yourself to be a public speaker, but you are engaged in speaking throughout the day. You also may not consider yourself to be a writer, yet you write every day. What should you do in advance to prepare for a presentation in order to reduce the anxiety of speaking in public?
