Centers of a Triangle Define the following: Circumcenter- Orthocenter- Centroid- Part 1: Using a straightedge, draw a triangle at least 6 inches wide and tall. (The bigger the triangle, the easier it will be for you to do part 2) Using a straightedge and compass, construct the centers (circumcenter, orthocenter, and centroid) of that triangle. Label each of these in your triangle. Each of these 3 centers should be all on that same triangle. (Hint: Use a different color for each center to make the constructions easier to see). It is very important that you use a straightedge and a compass to construct these centers (no freehand). You may also choose to use technology to construct the triangles and centers. Be sure to take screen shots or record the process to document your constructions. Part 2: Once you have constructed the 3 centers, describe what you notice about those centers. What is a hypothesis that you can make about these 3 centers
