Chanda is an industrial partner in the firm Tattle Bubble & Co. The said company cannot pay off its debts with its creditors upon dissolution

Chanda is an industrial partner in the firm Tattle Bubble & Co. The said company cannot pay off its debts with its creditors upon dissolution and winding up. Since the partnership property is not enough to cover all the debts, the partners, including Chanda were obliged by the creditors to settle the remaining debt through their personal property. Chanda objected arguing that he cannot be held personally liable because the partnership has a separate juridical personality from the partners and therefore, he cannot be compelled to pay the partnership debts using his personal property. Is Chanda correct? Explain why or why not.
