Chapter 4: Who matters most? In this exercise you list the names of your two or three key stakeholders in each domain (a) in your work or career, (b) in your home or family, and (c) in the community or society. Consider these questions to identify your key stakeholders: Who are the most important people, groups, or other entities (e.g., animals, the environment) to you in each of these domains? With whom in each domain do you have the most frequent contact? Who are the people with the greatest amount of influence on your life and the people on whose lives you exert a great deal of influence? Once youve thought this through, make a list of the names of these people or groups, one for each of the three domains other than the self domain, which well get to in the next question. Write a sentence or two about why you chose each of them.

Chapter 4: Expectations Others Have of You For each stakeholder identified above

1. Imagine how each would respond to this question: what are the main things you want or need from me?

2. Describe the behaviors he or she expects, being as specific as you can. For the self domain, identify what you want from yourself for at least two aspects of yourself (e.g., relaxation, spirituality, physical health, emotional health)

3. For each expectation from part a and b above, give yourself a rating on how well youre meeting the expectation. A 10 indicates that you believe you are meeting expectations fully, all of the time. A 5 indicates that you believe you are meeting expectations some of the time. A 1 indicates that you believe you are never meeting these expectations.
