Character is more about being transparent and making sure the audience knows how one gathered the data and the author of our text emphasizes this relative to his focus on the idea that we live in a post-trust era. I would argue that in the post-trust era when people are less likely to trust, is to still find a way to develop it with the end-user or the audience. As such, I think trust is a mix of both clearly showing competence (we have our act together) and we are honest (transparent about things) and I think that is reflected in the article by Joni (2004) in the author's deep dive on the concept under the header of 'The Truth about Trust' starting on page 184.Folks, looking at our own readings and that section of the article, and you can click on the link below to pull it up, what resonates with your own lived experience in developing trust in either your work or personal life?
