Charles Angela decided to go into partnership for a manufacturing business. Charles Raised $250,000 in startup funds in large part on the basis of documents that he forged. These documents purported to show that Charles and Angela own their factory, when in fact they merely leased it. Charles spent all of the money on himself, and now he has no assets and has been jailed for 10 years. The creditors have contacted Angela and told her they will hold her liable for the loss.
