Charlie Chow is a partner at Chow Enterprise, LLP ("Chow"), a business consulting firm with offices in Olympia, WA, Seattle, WA and Bellingham, WA. Jad politely rejects Charlie's invitations. Neither Charlie nor Jad have spoken of their sexuality. However, it is widely believed within the firm that Charlie identifies as a homosexual. At the end of Jad's first year with Chow, Charlie dismisses Jad for "failing to maintain proper decorum". Jad sues Charlie and Chow.
