Chicago PD, Season 4, Episode 8
1. With the initial arrival of of the Intelligence Unit detectives, how many crimes scenes are already involved?
2. Although every jurisdiction has different procedures; with an Active Shooter in the area, having Emergency Services (Ambulance) pull up at the initial scene is usually not a good idea. What issue could this present for the Evidence Team? Are there any benefits having the large ambulance at the scene?
3. Once Law Enforcement has established that the Active shooter is gone, investigators will start establishing needs for the investigation. From your reading and what we have discussed on Zoom. If you are the lead, how would you start this investigation? Not knowing at this time there are more scenes to come.
4. With question 3 in mind, as you start to have more and more victims how would you prioritize the processing of the scenes? Is the information the intelligence team requesting the same as what you would request? If not what would you request first and second etc. ? Would you use a different approach?
I don't have a reference Link. However, I believe it's on YouTube.
