As a result, Mr. Choi asked the store clerk whether he can reserve the refrigerator for a few hours while he went to the bank to get more money. Mr. Choi wanted the refrigerator so badly that he offered the clerk $25 dollars to keep the refrigerator available for 24hours. The clerk refused the money but instead put Mr. Choi's name on a paper and put it on the refrigerator with the words, "reserve for 24 hours". Four hours later, Mr. Choi returned for the refrigerator, but the store clerk told Mr. Choi that it had been sold alrady. Was the company obligated to keep the refrigerator for Mr. Choi?
