To really understand where this fund is coming from, its stated objectives, approach, strategy and current holdings are indicators that help me select this fund for long-term investment. To top it all up, as a fund selector, Morningstar Tool Box, Quick rank and Comparison Tools of VTRIX has narrowed down the funds meeting my investment goals. Running deeper through its category rankings, style, fees and expenses, sales charges (loado load), management criteria it meets my investment goals. It expenses is low which is good. Size matters, it has a large capitalization market. Its size diversity and international portfolio will buoy me up in the years ahead when domestic markets are underperforming. In addition, its risk level is congruent with my investment objectives. VTRIX past performance cannot be used to predict its future performance. We know that life is full of risks. The fund is exposed to foreign stocks and markets that are much riskier than U.S stock investments. If we do not take risks nothing happens.
