Choose a product from the Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) website that has been banned in the U.S. by CPSC, then answer all the following questions:

1. What reason did the CPSC give for the product being banned from the U.S. market? Do you personally agree/disagree with the reasoning? Why?

2. What has Congress told the CPSC to do in it's enabling act? Be sure to cite CPSC's enabling act within your response.

3. Is this enabling act a clear enough mandate to guide the Agency or is it too broad? Explain.

4. What can Congress do if CPSC acts beyond the scope of it's powers? What can an affected business do?
