For example, there are 3 different elephant species, the African Forest Elephant, the African Savannah Elephant, and the Asian Elephant, each with specific habitats, niches, etc. In addition, some subspecies are not endangered, while others are. For example, the Macaroni Penguin's status is Vulnerable, which is considered a threatened species, while the King Penguin's status is Least Concern, so would not be an acceptable species to research for this assignment.
