The company's critical issue is the noncooperative culture between the marketing department and engineering (Clarke, 2021).

• The first step to solving the issue is to educate the department on the importance of cooperation to a company. Collaboration between departments can lead to success by increasing productivity.
• Secondly, the company should set broad objectives. Everybody should understand the company's goal, and the department's leaders should explain how the goal is not essential only to their department but to the whole organization. In this case, the leader can use emails or messages to communicate the company's strategies to all departments that aim to achieve the company's goals.
• Lastly, the company should encourage regular team interaction and hold meetings, video conferences, and leadership meetings to ensure the departments interact and discuss.

Yes, the company project can achieve Excellence. The company must remain focused on its goal of achieving Excellence and have realistic expectations from the department to attain Excellence. I would recommend the company change the culture by executive leadership. In this case, authentic leadership is needed. I will advise the executive leadership to remain focused on the company's goal. I will also recommend that the company follow Jack Welch's advice: "great cultures deliver great numbers, but great numbers do not deliver great culture (Roos al., 2021)." Having a great culture led to success.

If benchmarking studies indicate that either engineering or marketing is at fault, it will bring down the company's morale. Lack of enthusiasm will lead to conflict among workers, increase absenteeism and decrease company productivity, and the negativity will lead the company to fall due to the challenges.
