Class, on pages 309-312, the text lists five steps to drive engagement and performance post merger and acquisition. Upon review of these five steps, I argue that they are applicable with or without a merger and acquisition. I am especially drawn to steps 2 and 5. I support Leading with Values and Transparent Communication. With or without a merger and acquisition, leading with values is top on my list of actions a business needs to incorporate to create an integrated, strong, successful organization.
