Collisions lab
the graphs are the first two pics logger bro
the other two pics are the regulars just find the mass
everything is included--> that is all I got from the professor

Using the masses of the two carts given in the two pictures( zoom in on the wight things ), and the two graphs(zoom in the first and second pic ) , check whether the post collision velocities, v1 and v2 agree with the prediction from the equations.
Find the percent error between predicted and observed post collision velocities.
Show all steps in your calculations and submit a regular typed report.
i) As given in the question, there are two different Velocities of two different objects. let's assume 14 and i for both the masses of the bodies . Now, the velocity of ( 7, would be V, and the Velocity of /2 would be y/2. Now, to check whether the initial velocities would provide - exact final velocities or not , we can USC Conservation momentum theorem Let final velocities would of, and V/zofor both masses respectively . Applying conservation of momentum throum. Plugging the values in the above equation- We could find our solution . 11) To find the percentage error between predicted and observed collision velocities would be ! - let Predicted velocity = VPredicted Observed velocity : 1 observed.Percentage em? - I Vobserved- Vpredicted / X 1001. W observed Steps: - is To find , the above value we just have to plug the required values in the equation . in Afte find the clifference between the Vobserved and predicted, divide the value by Vobserved Multiply the obtained value to find the percentage error in terms of Observed cund predicted velocity . These are the basic skeleton to find the solution for question related to different velocity . Just plug in the values to find the answer ,Page Help DEARANY 1/ MOMOCollect 0.4- Statistics for: Latest | Velocity 1 min: -0.01010 at 1.900 max: 0.002477 at2.420 73 median: -0.005145 std. dev: 0.003395 samples: 19 Ay: 0.013 Statistics for: Latest | Velocity 1 min: 0.3247 at 1.300 m mean: 0.3 7 at 1,300 max 0.3855 at 0.8600 18 median: 0.3664 samples: 14 0.2 Ay: 0.061 0.0 Velocity 1 (m/s) Velocity 2 (m/s) Statistics for Latest | Velocity 2 80 max: -0.2778 at 2.540 Statistics for, Latest | Velocity 2 mean:-0.3021 median: -0.2990 min: -0.003430 at 0.6600 m std. dev: 0.01436 samples: 22 mean: -0.0003049 median: -0.0001906 Ay 0.058 0.2- std. dev: 0.001927 samples 15 Ay: 0.006 0.4- (2.640, 0.2119) Time (s)Statistics for Latest | Velocity 1 min: 0.1172 at 2.780 max: 0. 1572 at 2.300 mean: 0.1384 median: 0. 1414 Statistics for Latest | Velocity 1 std. dev: 0,01117 samples: 17 min: 0.3184 at 1.740 max: 0.3899 at 1 180 Ay: 0.040 mean: 0.3618 median: 0.3643 sid. dev: 0,02131 samples: 15 Ay: 0.071 Statistics for Latest | Velocity 2 min:-0.002858 at 1.540 max: 0.001906 at 1.100 mean: -3.363E-05median: 0 std. dev: 0.001226 samples: 17 Statistics for Latest | Velocity 2 Ay 0.005 min: -0.1543 at2.140 max:-0.1176 at2.780 mean: -0.1368 median: -0.1382 std, dev: 0.01138 samples: 17 Ay: 0.037Statistics for Latest | Velocity 1 min: 0.1172 at 2.780 max: 0. 1572 at 2.300 mean: 0.1384 median: 0. 1414 Statistics for Latest | Velocity 1 std. dev: 0,01117 samples: 17 min: 0.3184 at 1.740 max: 0.3899 at 1 180 Ay: 0.040 mean: 0.3618 median: 0.3643 sid. dev: 0,02131 samples: 15 Ay: 0.071 Statistics for Latest | Velocity 2 min:-0.002858 at 1.540 max: 0.001906 at 1.100 mean: -3.363E-05median: 0 std. dev: 0.001226 samples: 17 Statistics for Latest | Velocity 2 Ay 0.005 min: -0.1543 at2.140 max:-0.1176 at2.780 mean: -0.1368 median: -0.1382 std, dev: 0.01138 samples: 17 Ay: 0.037
