COMM2293 Fall 2015 Case Scenario for Assignments For the first five assignments this semester, you will be creating business documents as an employee of a specific company, Sidekicks Athletic Shoes, Inc. (SASI). Who you are: the administrative assistant to Ms. Lacey Walker, CEO and founder of Sidekicks Athletic Shoes, Inc. Your job is to draft, revise, and send professional business messages to Ms. Walker (your boss), co-workers, product and service suppliers, customers, and other relevant audiences. The company: Incorporated in 2013, SASI is a small start-up company that produces environmentally friendly running and walking shoes made from recycled or natural materials, including recycled rubber (tires, carpet padding, inner tubes), recycled plastic and foam, cork, organic cotton, hemp, and coconut fibre.
