1. One of your employees is injured while working on a machine. He has to go to the emergency room to be treated. Because his injury resulted in and out of the course of employment, he is covered under his companys workers compensation policy. He medical expenses are covered. However, there are many other things covered in addition to medical under workers compensation. Please list and explain all the things that workers compensation can cover.

2. If the employee in question 1 missed some time off due to his injury, would workers compensation typically cover lost wages? If so, what does it mean that there is typically a 72-hour waiting period, almost like a time deductible?
