Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 is a cyber act introduced by the government

of Malaysia in 1997 along with the rise of internet usage in Malaysia in the 90's to

control and monitor online and telecommunication activities. The increasing traffic of

online activities causing the increasing of negative sentiment among users that can

lead to great deal of turmoil. Explain and give an example on how this act can protect

Malaysians in order to ensure peace and security all the time?
