Company Analysis Proposal

PepsiCo

1. Which company do you choose for the project?

The company we are opting for is PepsiCo (PEP).

2. What major issues is the company facing, such as declining demand of existing products, saturated domestic market, obsolete technology, or others?

3. What's the company's core competency, if any?

One of the main competencies would be the marketing of PepsiCo across a distribution network of exceptional intensity and versatility. The purpose of PepsiCo's distribution channel is to bring its goods within easy reach of the customer. The center of this network is direct store distribution-direct store distribution (DSD) networks. PepsiCo takes its goods directly to tens of thousands of distribution outlets through these networks, from the tiniest grocery stores to the biggest warehouse outlets. Personally, Pepsi and its distributors carry items into stores and put them on the shelves. Another is the good brand recognition, cost controls, network of franchises and the distinct taste served by Pepsi. Its main competencies are also the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

4. What has the company done in the past, and why is it successful or not?

5. What the company should do to deal with the issue, i.e. strategic recommendation?
