Compare and contrast the past treatment of those with mental health illnesses. How were mental illnesses explained and treatment justified centuries ago? How do we view them today? Some of the differences may be obvious, of course, but consider what has changed and perhaps some of the views, ideas, and beliefs that haven't changed.
