compose a Journal using the following guidelines.

please based these ideas on attending university virtually due to the pandemic

First, describe what you are feeling right now about university. Then discuss what those feelings tell you about how ready you are for the experience. Last, brainstorm some actions that will help you be as prepared as possible to benefit from the experience of university. (For example, if shyness prevents you from feeling ready to meet new people on campus, one action might be to join an organization or study group that will help you get to know people more easily).

How you feel about your time management. Paying attention to your feelings about how you spend time can be a key step toward making time management choices that are more in line with your values. Think, and then write, about how your most time-demanding activities make you feel. What makes you happiest, most fulfilled, or most satisfied? What makes you most anxious, frustrated, or drained? What do these feelings tell you about your day-to-day choices? Describe how you could adjust your mindset, or make different choices, to feel better about how you spend your time.

Your interactions with others. With your Personality Spectrum profile in mind, think about how you generally relate to people. Describe the type(s) of people that you tend to get along well with. How do you feel around these people? Then describe the types that tend to irritate you. How do those people make you feel? Use your emotional intelligence to discuss what those feelings tell you and how you can adjust your mindset or take action to create the best possible outcome in interactions with people with whom you just do not get along.

Make a wiser choice. Think about a decision you made that you wish you had handled differently. Describe the decision and what feelings resulted from it. Then, describe what you would do if you could approach the decision again, thinking about a mindset and actions that might produce more positive feelings and a better outcome.

Reading Challenges. Which current course presents your most difficult reading challenge? Describe what makes the reading tough - type of material, length of assignments, level of difficulty, or something else. What feelings come up for you when you read, and what effect do they have on your reading? Describe techniques you learned in this chapter that can help you get into a growth mindset to read productively.

Understanding your needs and making changes. Think about a situation when you have had trouble taking effective notes. Was it the teacher's pace? The subject matter of the class? How did you feel about the situation, and what did you do? After you describe the situation, find and write three note-taking strategies discussed in this chapter that could help you in the future. How might they help you create a more positive outcome?

include your personal mission statement in your journal.
