Compose a thoughtful response to the topic below, Organizational collaboration in information systems and data is very important because different companies need to share data to determine what is best for consumers. In the article, Analyzing Process Improvements Supported by IT, it talks about how the grandma needed more information on how to pack lunch for her grandchildren. She was not given much information for the first day of packing lunches, but with the collaboration and feedback, she is now able to provide the lunches her grandchildren like more efficiently. This example can be used in many different lines of business. In this example, many different forms of collaboration is needed in order to keep a business running. "Collaboration and data sharing among different departments lead to increased efficiency, better decision-making, improved productivity, enhanced innovation, and increased revenue." (Enterprise data sharing for effective collaboration and Innovation 2023) Without collaboration, there would be no company. Managers need data of what customers are buying in order to keep their store stocked and customers coming back. In order to do that, employees have to restock the shelves of products that customers are buying as well as checking them out to gather data. Then, customers come into the store, buy what they need, and therefore, provide data for managers to purchase stock. It is all one big collaboration system in order to give people what they need
