Computer Labs Incorporated is a company that specializes in setting up computer labs for clients in large and small businesses as well as schools. Your co-worker from a previous company, Liza Rachels, and one of her longtime business associates, Georgio Rozalini, recently joined forces to start Computer Labs Incorporated. Liza and Giorgio decided that since she has more years of experience, she would be better suited to take on the role of President of the company and Georgio would be a better fit for Vice President. Because of your stellar work history, Liza and Georgio asked you to join their company as VP of Project Development. You head up a team of 3 project directors - Lisa Li, Daniel Smithson, and Oliver Thomaston to coordinate all the many projects that your company completes for its clients. Each project director has a team of three employees to work on the various projects. One of the main missions of your company is to deliver a quality product with a positive attitude in a timely manner. The mission is critical to the business.

3. In preparing for a strategic planning meeting, consider the goals and objectives of the company. Establish some goals for the company that are based on the mission statement, and expand the mission statement if necessary?

Project Information

At Computer Labs Incorporated, where you work as a project manager, you have been asked to conduct user-training sessions for a new information system. You must develop a specific schedule for the tasks. Use the information below to complete tasks 4 - 7.

• First, confirm arrangements for the training facility you plan to use (3 days).
• After you have confirmed the training facility, two tasks can begin at the same time: you need to send an e-mail message to all department managers announcing the training sessions (1 day) and you can develop the training material (5 days).
• As soon as the email has been sent and the training material is complete, you can work on two tasks at once: arrange to have copies of handout material printed (2 days) and develop a set of PowerPoint slides (5 days).
• When the PowerPoint slides are ready and the handouts have been printed, conduct a practice training session with the instructor who will assist you (2 days).
• When the practice session is over, conduct the user training sessions (4 days).
