Faculty dissatisfaction received recommendations for a total of 40%. The effect of tenure and the effect on students amounted to an additional 40%, so altogether ISU has earned an 80% based on our criteria for required action. With ISU's infrastructure, we believe that our recommendations could be easily implemented. Therefore, our team believes that ISU should take the initiative to listen to, accommodate, and further understand the issues that its faculty are facing and work to improve their experience at ISU. To ensure student success and faculty satisfaction, our team recommends the following:1. ISU should take steps in lightening the workload that its faculty currently hold. Establish a faculty outreach program centered around assisting faculty with their work. Allow more opportunities for advancement by offering elective duties in other parts of their department. Allow easier accessibility with members of upper management, as well as more open faculty forums. 2. ISU should allow greater assistance for Tenure/Tenure-track faculty and reevaluate its management of non-tenured faculty. Allow more competitive pay among non-tenured faculty. Provide non-tenured faculty with a sense of job security via contracts. Allow for access to additional research funds if needed
