Conducting a Gage R&R Study of the Flight Time SAD (aka Shop-And-Drop) statisticians were brought in from headquarters to test the reliability of the flight time measurement system. The objective of a Measurement System Analysis (MSA) is to demonstrate how to assess the variability inherent in making a measurement. That is, are the flight time measurements reliable? Each statistician and appraisor was given a sample video from the drop of the current Prototype 1 drone, as well as a randomly chosen new prototype: 16, 41, and 68. Two flight test engineers, Amelia and Chuck, were chosen appraisors to conduct the MSA. They were chosen to cover the widest spread of possible experience levels.
