Consider a CSMA/CA IEEE 802.11 wireless network with two Stations A and B, and an Access Point (AP). The parameters for this network are as follows.

Slot time = 1 time unit

SIFS = 1 slot time

DIFS = 2 slot times

DATA frame size = 5 slot times

ACK frame size = 1 slot time

Timeout period (measured from the end of frame transmission) = 2 slot times. For simplicity, assume that a DIFS can overlap with a timeout period.

Consider that at time t = 0, Station A has two data frames to be transmitted to the AP. At time t = 1, Station B has one data frame to be transmitted to the AP. Suppose that the transmission of the data frames resulted in exactly one collision and that the collision happened between the first data frame of Station A and the data frame from Station B. In such a scenario, find the minimum possible time needed for all data frames to be correctly received and acknowledged by the AP and the probability of achieving this minimum possible time. Your solution should account for all possible scenarios that result in the minimum possible time to occur under the aforementioned communication behavior. Assume that CW_max for the two stations is set to a large value.
