You have been tasked as the project manager to write the project scope to introduce self-checkout registers at XY College bookstore. While the bookstore is on XY College property, the bookstore is owned by Barnes and Noble. B&N will offer XY College an added incentive if space is made to allow for self-checkout registers to decrease the need for additional personnel while allowing a more streamlined process in the purchase of textbooks and other items in the bookstore. The requirements from the project stakeholders has been approved. The stakeholders would like for this system to be up and tested during the beginning of the summer semester and in full production by the beginning of the fall semester. The cost should not exceed $100,000.
