Consider the network of pipes shown in the figure, fed from two large tanks and open to the atmosphere. Suppose that HA=85m,HG=102m and the values of QC, QF and QE are on the next table. The characteristics of the pipes (absolute roughness, e=0.26mm ) are tabulated below: Determine the flow in each section and the head of pressure in each node, proceeding as follows: 1. Assume full turbulence and use the corresponding coefficient of friction to calculate the hydraulic resistances. 2. Set up the necessary equations to calculate the flows. 3. Solve the above equations using MATLAB or OCTAVE. 4. With the flows obtained and assuming that the Colebrook equation is valid, Calculate the coefficients of friction. 5. If there is an appreciable difference between the coefficients of friction obtained in (1) and (4), recalculate the flow rates. 6. Calculate the pressure heights at each node
