Consider the readings from this past week and conduct some online research on the various public engagement techniques that can be applied in EM related activities. Reflect on your community, your workplace or an organization that you are affiliated with, and their emergency management program. Identify three opportunities that you can see where public participation and engagement could strengthen the (emergency management) program. Explain why you need public participation, the engagement approach you would take if you were responsible for the communications for that part of the program, and describe what you would want to accomplish. What would tell you if your approach was successful in achieving the desired objective?
