Consider two blocks A and B of mass mA = 32 kg and mB = 12 kg connected by a non-elastic taut cable passing through an ideal pulley. The kinetic coefficient of friction between all contacting surfaces is k = 0.12. The slope on which block A rests makes an angle 300 with the vertical and the slope on which block B rests makes an angle 250 with the horizontal, see Figure 1. If we assume that a force of magnitude F1 = 70 N is applied to block A as well as a force of magnitude F2 = 100 N is applied to block B as shown in figure 1 and that block A moves downwards, Determine: a) block acceleration; b) The tension in the cable and the normal reactions exerted by the inclined plane on each block; c) the relative acceleration of B with respect to A.
