Consider your own organization (or one that you have worked with in the past). What total rewards does your company offer and what opportunities are there for improvement?
My current job (Target) offers a wide variety of total rewards. Some of these include mental health resources, health benefits (free telemedicine), various shopping discounts, 401k (and other financial resources), competitive pay, annual pay raises (based on performance evaluations), tuition assistance, and development opportunities. Everything they currently offer is very beneficial to all employees, and I personally utilize many of them. When it comes to improvement, the only thing I would suggest is to advertise these rewards more. Many employees do not know a lot of details about these offers and rewards. More employees could take advantage of these opportunities if information and details were readily available.
