Since it is reaching new market share, Nike should implement strategies that would attract new customers into the company. Some of the pricing strategies for new products that Nike would use effectively include price skimming. In price skimming, the company can charge higher prices during the introductory phase and lower them as competitors enter the market. Besides, the company can also use market penetration pricing approach where Nike sets the price of Nike Comfy very low to attract new customers and boost the growth of the product in the market.
