Egypt Laundromat argued the relationship was a bailment for mutual benefit, and as a result, the restaurant, as bailee, owed a duty of ordinary care to Egypt Laundromat, as bailor, to ensure its laundry did not spontaneously combust in the dryer. Was Charlie liable for the cost of the fire?
