Peter is famous in his office as Mr. Working Hard". He always works late seven days a week without taking any holidays. He even takes works home trying to finish them at nighttime. Peter's immediate supervisor observes the working habits of Peter and reveals the following: - Peter always concentrates working with jobs that he is interested in, and leaving others until due time is reached; - Peter takes up all works by himself. His subordinates do not have much work and always have free time in office; - Peter spends an average 4 hours a day in chatting with sales people, either in person or via telephone; and - Peter separates all works in hands into small parts and finishes them at random. (a) Describe the consequences of poor time management. (8 marks) (b) Analyse where does Peter's time go. (4 marks) (c) Suggest improvement methods to Peter on poor time management. (8 marks)
