Context and Sytem Level DFD
For the following narrative using MS Visio or modeling tool of your choice you will provide a Context and System level DFD you see necessary to operate on a daily basis. You are limited to the information provided At Dwayne's happy planet boat rentals customers may rent boats for a variety of events. Customers will submit an order for a boat that contains the type of boat and number of people that will be in the party and dates. This information is stored in an orders folder and a customer card is created for the customer with a unique id and is filed. A copy of the card is mailed to the customer. Once a day the clerk will check the orders file and compare that with available boats. If there is a match an invoice will be created and mailed to the customer and a copy will be filed for payment purposes later. We are always adding new boats to our system and routinely review requests from suppliers that have a boat for us. If the boat suits our needs and we add it to our inventory a supplier receipt is created, filed and mailed to the boats' owner. When a customer agrees to our invoice they return it with payment and we will then book the boat for the time they like. Once a month Dwayne will review all orders for that month and will prepare a list of customers who are in good standing and they will be offered an additional 10% of on their next boat rental. Monthly the clerk will prepare a listing of all boats available for rent and will send that off to a printing company to create a rental listing. The company will return the listing along with an invoice to pay for it. The invoice is sent to our Accountant and they will handle the payment. All customers that rent boats must show proof of their boating license which is verified by the federal government as real and then added to the customer profile. If it is rejected by the government the customer is informed and their rental request is cancelled new
