Continue your work from exercise 1.43 (page 37) with the data file Large. Everglades.

(a) Make a scatterplot matrix displaying the relationship for each combination of 5 variables. There should be 10 different graphs (20 if each variable is used on the x and then on the y axis for each combination). Which relationships. If any, are linear?

(b) The shark river ends in the gulf of Mexico. When the tide comes in, ocean water flows into the river; when the tide goes out, water flows from the river into the ocean. The velocity and discharge variables take positive values when the tide is out, and negative values when the tide is in. Describe again the scatterplot matrix you created in (a), this time taking into account the tides impact (that is, describe the tide in and tide out separately).
