Copyright Case: A&M Records, Inc. v. Napster, Inc.

Napster did not just infringed upon A&M records copyrights, there are in total 18 plaintiffs listed on the case. These 18 plaintiffs comprise of almost all of the biggest record producing companies in the world like Sony, Universal Records, Capital Records, etc. Lastly, I would like to hear your opinion on the thought that " did Napster ended up paving a path for all the future illegal file sharing websites, as it showed them a way on how to do Just enough to avoid major legal troubles"?
