Construct a credible example in which an organisation that, in considering a product's life cycle costs, might make a decision not to make the product but that, in the same circumstances, if considering only costs during the product's manufacturing stage it might produce the product. Can you find a published example of a product that would clearly not have been made if the organisation had computed the product's life cycle costs?
