Could anyone explain why the figures have doubled (e.g.90,000 becomes 180,000...etc)? From my understanding a 2-for-1 stock split means the figure is just divided by two and the value remains unchanged, as seen in the illustration, 20 becomes two 10. And I don't know why 180,000 x 3/12 and so on. In short I don't know how the answer is calculated. Please explain in detail thank you.
