Could you please help me with how to apply method of joints for this question? I am heavily stuck on how you can do joint E in order to solve for strut GE as trigonometry seems like its a very inefficient way of doing this. I am also extremely confused on how to work out the forces at joint G. Any diagrams and numerical values shown by you is more than welcome as a quick way of starting off.
I have worked out the support reactions successfully so that you don't have to (shown in the second image)

Please could you show me a worked solution of how you managed to calculate the forces at joint G also by using a free body diagram

Q1: Consider the space truss represented schematically in Figure 1. It has 21 struts and a fixed support at "C". At joint "E", it is applied a force vector with a component of 30 N, along the x-axis, and a component of 10 N, along the negative y-axis, as shown in Figure 1. Using the method of joints, calculate the forces for the struts converging at joint "G", i.e. the forces for struts "GB", "GC", "GD", "GE", "GF" and "GH" and specify if the struts are in tension or in compression. 10N E 30N H Z+ A D 5m B 4m 3m
