My broader doctoral research interests focus on studying "The effects of inflation on business."

Purpose

As you complete Doctoral Dialogue, you will be assessed on your ability to analyze organizational culture concepts, theories and practices as related to a dissertation topical focus. You will demonstrate your ability to refine the underpinnings and formation of research question through peer-to-peer discussion. You will be assessed on your ability to develop a scholarly research proposal for new research into organizational culture and behavior.

Synopsis

For this dialogue, we will build on the completed Annotated Bibliography and the in-process Prospectus: The Research Question assignments, which is due in Module 3.

Prepare

1. Prepareto develop research questions for your prospectus assignment.
2. Beginwith thinking through how the topic of organizational culture intersects, influences, or coincides with your dissertation topic.
3. Reflectupon some of these topics and constructs in your reflection process:
   • Organizational values, beliefs, and assumptions as critical to whether a culture is effective or ineffective.
   • The connection between leadership and organizational culture and performance.
   • The effect of organizational culture on followers' (employee) trust, performance and collaboration.
   • The role of both leadership and followership in creating and maintaining a healthy culture.

Compose

1. Compose your post by including an introductory paragraph summarizing your dissertation topic (see Doctoral Dialogue 1). Your next paragraph or two should explain how organizational culture intersects, influences, or coincides with your dissertation topic .
2. Concludeyour post with your research question.
3. Explainandsupport(cite your sources) your proposed research question.
4. Includea reference list of all the sources you included at the end of your post.
