Course Project: Part 1) Topic Proposal - Due next week! Part 1 - Study Proposal (5%) - Identity what personal behaviour will be tracked and describe how data will be gathered (Baseline and Benchmark). If a behaviour you want to study is not listed here, check with your instructor on its acceptability and viability before launching into the study proposal. a. You will identify and discuss why the topic Transportation - track patterns/types; km traveled, C02 impact (GHG) c. You will connect your topic to a Sustainable Development Goal aligned. d. You will describe the situation in which you are collecting the data (e.g., I live alone in an apartment; I live with x of roommates; in an apartment with x number of units or a single-family home; I am in Kitchener; Brantford; Brampton, etc.) e. You will explain how you will collect your data (sources) f. You will provide this in a written post to the discussion board - 250 words max NOTES: The selection of your personal behaviour is important. It must allow you to: Measure an individual activity (behaviour) over a period of time (Baseline). Gather external data about your usage for this topic (Benchmark). Provide evidence of your data collection (e.g., copies of bills, pictures of meter reads, etc.) Link and explain how your behaviour relates to and may help or hinder achieving sustainability efforts and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
