Courts generally will hold gambling contracts to be void consistent with a view that gambling is illegalas a matter of public policy. However,we now have every state in the Union sponsoring some form of gambling...state run lotteries.Additionally,several states permit casino gambling, with slots and table games, and there is sports gambling.
