Discrimination laws and other statutes are in place to keep workers and employers responsible, but they can't wholly deter employees or employers from acting unethically. The following below are common issues faced ethically.
Discrimination:Discrimination is a major ethical problem in business since it involves treating someone differently becauseof who they are or because someone possesses certain characteristics.
Harassment:A second major ethical issue is harassment since which is related to sexism. It can come in a form of verbal abuse, sexual abuse teasing, or racial slurs.
Nepotism and Favoritismis aform of discriminationin which friends and//or family members are hired for reasons that do not necessarily have anything to do with their experience, knowledge, or skills.
Unethical Leadership:Such behavior or actions that are illegal or violate existing moral standards in the workplace include hostile, abusive, and oppressive behaviors not between workers but by managers.
