some thing to keep in mind as you design this ERD the client needs the ability to create new customers, projects and bids via easy to use forms is a must. The client will want to be able to update customers' projects and bids easily and with minimal training in Access. Information entered in any forms should update to relevent tables with out issue. While you aren't actually making the database these are things to keep in mind during the design phase.
1.Be able to track customers, projects and project bids.
(a) Customers may have more than 1 address and project at a time.
(b)contact address may be different than project address.
2.Track sprinkler blowouts by address and a zone defined by the client at a later time.
(a) Blowouts may be done at more than 1 property on different days
3.Tracking job bids
(a)a bid sheet will have the customers contact information as well as the project location information (these will not alway not be the same addresses)
(b) will contain job details for the front, back and side yards as well as prices for each section and a total cost for the whole project. ( so the customer can choose to only do parts of the work or all at once.)
